Every once in a while I get a crazy idea for a fun photoshoot with the kids. Scott often rolls his eyes… but then ends up being such a great sport. For this one I got some inspiration off of Pinterest and Instagram and decided to stage the kids transporting their freshly-cut Christmas tree home. I’d been prepping their outfits for a few weeks, but this shoot included a last-minute Home Depot run for some supplies and an “early” Christmas gift opening for London. She LOVES the car! (Side note: Miniature Christmas Trees can be tough to come by, but Home Depot and Whole Foods both sell them. Buy them early because they sell out!). We had recently had some snowfall in Salt Lake, so we took the kids to one of our favorite parks near our house to snap some pics. We even had a special guest appearance from my sister’s French Bulldog, Rothko (bonus points if you know where the name comes from). I know you won’t be surprised, but he was just as difficult to take pictures of as the kids are!
We’re getting so excited for Christmas at our house! Jack asks me almost every day if it is Christmas yet. I can’t believe we’re only a week and a half away!! I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!
