We have now been quarantined in our homes for 4 weeks due to COVID-19. The last few weeks have been extremely difficult for me and I have experienced a lot of emotional ups and downs as I’ve done my best to navigate this new and unfamiliar way of life for my family. My children have also noticed all the changes from our daily routine. It’s been hard on everyone. With everything going on, I decided I wanted to make this Easter extra special for them. In the weeks leading up to it, we decorated our home and made plenty of Easter themed treats. Today we celebrated with Easter baskets and in the afternoon we had an Easter egg hunt in our front yard. I am feeling so grateful. Even though so many things are confusing and uncertain, I have been reminded of all the good in my life. I am so grateful for my husband, children and a home where we can all be together. Because of my Savior, I have a beautiful family that I get to be with forever. I also get the opportunity to be a mama. What an amazing blessing. Today has been a wonderful reminder that Jesus Christ lives and that he loves us. I hope each of you had an Easter filled with love and peace. It will definitely be an Easter we will never forget. Happy Easter!
I had the kids help me make these m&m cookies and they were so good!
We also made our favorite rice krispy treats! Scott has celiac so we always use honey nut cheerios instead of rice krispies. We added the easter m&ms on top and they were so delicious!
Andi’s first Easter was simple but wonderful. She is so sweet. We can’t get enough of her newborn snuggles.
I didn’t order these in time to get assembled flags but this shop offers digital downloads so I printed them and made my own!
Andi’s first Easter!
